DIY Wax Wraps the fun and easy way

production team

Making your own reusable, sustainable and green beeswax wraps at home with the DIY Beeswax Wrap Kit is fun and easy so why not make your own eco-friendly Wax Wraps today!

While it sometimes takes a little bit more effort we all want to try and live a more sustainable lifestyle. One of the best ways to live a greener life is to reuse and make things yourself, avoiding packaging, reducing transport costs and reusing materials you already have.

Beeswax wraps are a great environmentally sound plastic replacement for the home but the thought of making your own can be quite daunting. After you get all the ingredients together you have to get the mixture right. Combining the beeswax, tree resin and coconut oil is the hardest part of making beeswax wraps that last - too much of one ingredient and they don't stick, too much of another and they don't last for long – so we’ve done the hard part for you…and all the ingredients are sustainably sourced.

The DIY Beeswax Wrap Kit contains a bar of our special SuperBee wax blend, which is a mixture of sustainably harvested beeswax, organic coconut oil and tree resin. The kit also includes three different sizes of GOTS organic cotton (100% organic and sustainably sourced) along with easy-to-follow instructions. Everything you need to make eco-friendly beeswax wraps at home!

DIY Beeswax Wrap Kit

We have two different methods for making the wraps - one uses an iron and the other uses an oven, so you can choose whichever is most convenient for you.

BONUS: each kit comes with enough wax mixture to make 6 or more wraps, so you can make your own unique wraps with any leftover fabric scraps you might have lying around the house. Although we recommend you always use cotton. So why not give new life to your old fabric!
