We're very proud of the fact that all our beeswax comes from a local bee farming cooperative and is sustainably harvested without harming, or even disturbing any bees.
The wax is taken from the excess that healthy bees build on the outside of the hive. This excess wax isn’t used to store pollen or honey and so isn't used by the bees at all. This means that they aren't disturbed during the harvesting of this wax.
All our wax comes from GAP certified farms and is OTOP. GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practise which is regulated by the Department of Livestock, ensuring best practise in farming. OTOP is One Tambon One Product, a government project to promote local products.
